Their Mission And Ideology --
In a world where fast fashion dominates the shelves and algorithms decide what we see, FunTakers stands for something different. We’re not here to just sell clothes; we’re here to build something real, creative, and lasting. Our mission goes far beyond aesthetics. At our core, FunTakers is about connection: connecting people to their self-expression, community, and creative purpose.

A Collective of Creatives, Not Just a Company
FunTakers was founded as a creative collective, a space for designers, artists, and freethinkers to come together under one name. Each person involved in our brand brings their own unique style, voice, and perspective. This diversity fuels everything we do, from the way we design clothes to how we approach community events. In today’s digital world, authentic creatives often struggle to be seen or heard. Content moves fast, trends fade even faster, and originality is often drowned out by whatever the algorithm favors. We exist to change that narrative. FunTakers offers a platform where authenticity thrives. We’re passionate about helping creatives pursue their dreams with confidence, without fear of being overlooked, undervalued, or exploited.

Collaborating with Artists (For Real)
Collaboration isn’t just some buzzword at FunTakers. It’s a core part of who we are. We actively seek out local artists, graphic designers, painters, illustrators, and photographers and work with them to bring their art to life through our apparel and prints. Sometimes artist don't want these forms of monetization and that's totally understandable. We also offer promotional content and partnerships for those seeking other paths to get their work out in the world. These collaborations are built on mutual respect and shared vision. We don’t just use an artist’s design and slap it on a shirt, we tell their story, highlight their work, and make sure they’re fairly compensated and credited. In doing so, we’re not only building our brand, but we’re building theirs too. For many of these artists, FunTakers is their first introduction to the world of fashion or commerce. And for us, it’s a way to keep our drops fresh, meaningful, and connected to the culture we’re part of.
Building Community, One Event at a Time
We believe in face-to-face connection. That’s why you’ll often find us traveling across states, setting up at events, conventions, and markets not just to sell clothes, but to meet people. To talk, to listen, to share ideas. To build human relationships in a world where most interactions are through a screen. There’s something powerful about handing someone a piece of your work and hearing their reaction in real-time. These events remind us why we do what we do and allow us to grow our community in a way that feels personal and intentional. Many of our customers aren’t just “one-time buyers.” They become friends. They come back, again and again, because they’re not just supporting a brand they’re supporting people they believe in.
A Vision Bigger Than Ourselves
Our next chapter is big: we’re working toward opening a local storefront a permanent creative space in our hometown. This won’t just be a store. It’ll be a place to host events, workshops, showcases, and community art pop-ups. A place to bring in touring creatives and give them a space to show their work. A place for our city to gather, celebrate, and grow together. We want this storefront to reflect what FunTakers is all about doing what you feel is fun in your singular life. And we want it to be a space that not only brings people in, but also gives back whether through mentorship, job opportunities, or direct investment into our local arts scene. We have a long way to go before then, but we hope you continue to follow along our long road ahead.
If you’ve made it this far, you already get it. FunTakers is more than just some clothing brand. It’s a creative force built on real people, real passion, and real purpose. Whether you’re a fellow artist, an aspiring collaborator, or someone who simply believes in what we stand for, we’d love to connect.
